STM Models WORK!!!
Who WHooo! Just sitting looking at this catalog and who do I see – You got it .. It’s Jamila!
You can only imagine the satisfaction to see one of our models who has pushed so hard to make her dreams come true.
Now she’s working big jobs like the Bed Bath and Beyond Catalog… if you took any of our workshops you know that Catalog is the “bread and butter” (ie. $$) job in this industry. Time and Investments have proved worthy for this up and coming Top Model.
Check out Jamila on our teens board and take a peek at the first video we made to submit her to the agencies. Enjoy and Congratulations JAMILA! To book Jamila contact Elite Miami – 305-672-7281

We’ve been very busy… we also started a new company called KeeWee Creative, from shooting online catalogs to full support ad and web design, fully utilizing all our resources.

INSPIRED BY PROJECT RUNWAY® CONTEST CHALLENGES ASPIRING DESIGNERS
Aspiring designers and sewers are invited to compete in a fashion design competition that’s inspired by Project RunwayR. Creative fashionistas are challenged to design a look that others will want to make and proudly wear! The winner will receive worldwide distribution of their design and a trip to NYC, fashion capital of the world! Entries will be judged by Barbara Schneeweiss, Executive Producer of Project RunwayR and representatives from SimplicityR Patterns, the creator and sponsor of this exciting competition, as well as sewing industry experts.
An exclusive licensing agreement between Weinstein Company, owner of Project RunwayR and Simplicity Patterns enables SimplicityR to market apparel sewing patterns “Inspired by Project Runway”. SimplicityR is the world’s leading manufacturer of fashion sewing patterns. Their Inspired by Project Runway patterns have garnered worldwide attention and become instant collectibles as each season passes. Now, one lucky aspiring designer from the United States has a chance to turn “pro”, by having their winning design added to the Inspired by Project RunwayR pattern collection worldwide!
Fashionistas, style-mavens, aspiring designers and home sewers are invited to enter and become part of the world of fashion design! This is a rare opportunity to compete in a fashion design contest where the prize enables the winner’s name to be forever attached to the SimplicityR and Inspired by Project Runway brands. “We are looking forward to reviewing the entries and introducing a fresh, new design to our Inspired by Project Runway pattern collection and the world of fashion” says Bonnie Simmons, Design Director at SimplicityR
The Grand Prize Winner will receive a trip to New York City to visit Simplicity’s offices for meetings with the Design and Production staff. ESCADA- GERMAN TV- PAPARAZZI

It was a funfilled weekend, I met with Thomas Zeumer (the first manager of Claudia Schiffer and Naomi Campbell). He asked me to take part in a trailer for a German TV show he was working on. I said yes, and a star studded weekend began. Me and 2 other models met a designer, Beata, got our makeup done by STM’s very own Tasheba, and headed out for a night on the town with the executives of Esacada, who is lunching their new perfume, and some other High Fashion big wigs. One of the producers of Project Runway and fashion photographer Andre Plessel, along with singers Mya and Sean Paul were all found to be seated with us in the VIP area of Liv night club located in the Fountainbleu Hotel.
After a night of partying we again gathered for cocktails on a yacht for the Escada launch, where I met the big wigs in the Hispanic Community…Nauta Dominguez, Oscar Petit of Unvision, and others. Can’t wait to see some phootage.
Hobby Modeling
Yesterday, I went on a job booked thru my Runway agent and it reminded me of a very good job for new models. It is called Hobby Modeling. Usually for models in small markets, to get a chance to actually work as a model (if print and commercial jobs are not available there).
Me and 2 other models did a fashion show to showcase Inc. Conceptuals at Macys. We each had 9 changes and a Host spoke about our clothes as we walked the short runway.
The job was fast and fun! Runway is such a rush!
When it was over the client asked us to walk around with a sign to keep people going to INc.
We almost Diva’d out but getting paid a hundred an hour to walk around the store, was easy money.
The client did hire us for 4 hours so we did it. And that was fun too! People asked us to style them… “ask the models, ask the models.” and told us they had seen the show and how fabulous we look. They were buying the clothes off our backs!
So models think about Hobby Modeling, if you don’t have an agent think about approaching stores yourself. You never know what could happen!
